27.11.2019: The Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU’s postal service strike is over

The Finnish Post and Logistics Union PAU and Service Sector Employers Palta have reached an agreement in the dispute concerning the collective labour agreement for the communications and logistics industry.

The Finnish Seafarers’ Union’s supporting actions relating to the PAU labour strike have ended and all supporting actions announced by the Finnish Seafarers’ Union are cancelled.

The Finnish Seafarers´ Union FSU has 9 500 members. About 6 000 of them are wage-earners. They work mainly in maritime and inland water transportation.

The Finnish Seafarers´ Union is one of Finland’s oldest trade unions. It was established in 1916.

The Union is an affiliated member of the Central Organisation of Finnish Trade Unions SAK.
