The Union owns cabins in Espoo, Kerimäki, Hamina, Vaasa, Levi and Kustavi. The Union owns a total of 11 cabins.

Reservation of Cabins

You can reserve a cabin for yourself by phoning the Union’s office, during working hours. The telephone number is (09) 615 20 260. You can inquire from the Union, about the dates when the cabins are available and you can also ask about any other matters connected to the cabins.

The rental-times of the cabins

The cabins are rented outside the peak season times for the month in which you are phoning and the following month only.

Note! The cabins are only rented to members of the Union and membership will be checked when you are reserving the cabins.

Peak Season

During peak season time (June-August, in Levi February-April) the cabins are rented on the basis of the applications for one week at a time. At such time, priority will be given to those members who are working. There are application periods for the peak season times. More exact information regarding these periods can be found in our homepages and in the Finnish Seamen’s Union’s magazine ‘Merimies’. You can ask which weeks are free or have become free by phoning the Union on the above mentioned number.

The Cabin’s equipment

All of the cabins have the basic equipment needed for staying there. Take with you your own sheets, pillow cases and towels and any other personal necessities.
