The membership entitles you to benefits and discounts

All of the actual members of the Union, i.e. also student members and those who have retired after 1996, will receive the membership card of the Finnish Seamen’s Union.

With the membership card of the Finnish Seamen’s Union you will receive many kinds of benefits and discounts. More detailed information regarding these benefits and discounts are in the following paragraphs. Therefore remember to give your name when you visit the various companies and organisations with which the Finnish Seamen’s Union has negotiated benefits and/or discounts. In this way, you will actually receive the discounts and benefits which have been negotiated for the members.

The Union’s pocket diary helps with everyday life

The members of the Finnish Seamen’s Union who are in the labour market will also receive the Union’s pocket diary. Basic information about the Union has been collated in the diary and you will also find the contact information about the Union’s personnel. The information in the diary will help you when you are travelling in Finland as well as abroad and you will also find information about the membership benefits.
